Wyeast 1099 Whitbread Ale
A mildly malty and slightly fruity fermentation profile. It is less tart and dry than Wyeast 1098 British Ale. With good flocculation characteristics, this yeast clears well without filtration. Low fermentation temperatures will produce a clean finish with a very low ester profile.
Adding an ice pack for each tube or packet of liquid yeast in your order will reduce the effect of heat on your yeast during transit. Ice packs are an inexpensive insurance policy.
Temperature Range: 64-75F, 18-24C

Keep refrigerated. Do not freeze. Activator™ packages will sometimes swell slightly, or moderately during shipping or later while properly stored. This is not an indication of deterioration if the package is less than 6 months old and has been properly handled. This is result of trace amounts of nutrients, still available at the time packaging, causing small amount of culture activity and CO2 production. Some strains are more prone to this than others.
